Greetings everyone!
Art and painting and visual creativity for the most part, is a rather reclusive activity. An artist off by themselves working through the process and laboring for perfection in the studio, or plein airing on location someplace. Mostly invisible to the world at large, save for the occasional event. It’s a labor born of love and kind of a devotional act of blind faith in the worth of capturing a little bit of wonder.
I recently entered some artworks into the Plein air Magzine’s PleinAir Salon Art Competition, judged by Nationally recognized artist Camille Przewodek. I was honored and happy to have been awarded in two categories. Best of “Buildings”, and a first runner up “Honorable mention” for the “Couds” category. Thank you so much to Camille as I am humbled and gratified by your choices in this prestigious event. Also a heartfelt thank you to Eric Rhoads and Keri Stober for all your extraordinary efforts in the art community and at Plein Air Magzine
